☉ 既成事实 【jìchénɡshìshí】
　　[ fait accompli accomplished fact ] 已完成的、并且推定是不可改变的事。

☉ 既定 【jìdìnɡ】
　　[ antecedent established fixed set ] 已定的，已为前提的。
　　例： 既定方针

☉ 既而 【jì'ér】
　　[ soon after a while afterwards later subsequently ] 不久，一会儿，副词。指上件事情发生后不久。
　　例： 既而儿醒。——《虞初新志·秋声诗自序》
　　例： 既而得某尸于井。——《聊斋志异·促织》
　　例： 既而胡即放。——清·梁启超《谭嗣同传》

☉ 既来之，则安之 【jìláizhī，zéānzhī】
　　[ since we are here,we may as well stay and make the best of it now that we have come,let us stay and take the rough with the smooth now you are here,you‘d better stay since this is so,it‘s better to accept it and enjoy it ] 既已来此，那就随安于此。
　　例： 他果然既来之，则安之，我也只得因居之安，则资之深。——《儿女英雄传》

☉ 既然 【jìrán】
　　[ now that as since ] 表示先提出前提，而后加以推论，常用“就”、“也”、“还”等配搭。
　　例： 既然他已经好些，他就可以回学校去了

☉ 既是 【jìshì】
　　[ since now that ] 既然是。
　　例： 既是干不成，就算了吧

☉ 既往 【jìwǎnɡ】
　　[ past ] 以前。
　　例： 既往之事
　　[ bygones ] 指已经过去的事情。
　　例： 既往不究

☉ 既往不咎 【jìwǎnɡbùjiù】
　　[ let bygones be bygones do not censure sb. for his past misdeeds do not go into past misdeeds ] 不追究已经过去的错误。
　　例： 既往不咎，立功赎罪

☉ 既有今日，何必当初 【jìyǒujīnrì，hébìdānɡchū】
　　[ if there must be today,then why should there have been other days if I had known it would come to this,Iwould have acted differently if it has to be like this now,it‘s a pity it was even like that in the beginning ] 既然有今日的如此结果，何必在当初那么做。用以感慨现今的不如意，而深悔过去的错误。
　　例： 宝玉在身后面叹道:“既有今日，何必当初。”——《红楼梦》
