　　[ dismount get off the horse ] 从马上下来。
　　例： 我为了减轻马的负载宁愿下马
　　[ discontinue (a project,etc.) ] 比喻某个重大工程或工作项目中止进行。

　　[ get off one's horse to look at the flowers —go deep into the realities of life and make thorough investigations ] 比喻干部、知识分子等较长时间地深入工厂、农村调查研究。
